Trooper is Great Lakes Boot Black 2009, and 1st Runner Up at both International Mr. Boot Black '09 & International Community Boot Black '10. Enjoying BDSM life for over a decade, he is President of ICON Detroit Leather Club, and member of Detroit Bondage Club and Chicago Hellfire Club (CHC). In 2010, "Mama's Trooper" was named a C.L.A.W. Coordinator, and also made a selection panel's final cut of nominees for Pantheon of Leather Awards. He has served the community as judge for state/regional contests, and as bootblack the last 5 years at runs for ICON, Nashville Conductors, Grand Rapids Rivermen, and NIMBUS.
Trooper proudly helps with fundraising for charities around the Midwest & South, and is also a presenter of workshops on fetish, leather care & blacking for Great Lakes Leather Alliance, CHC and others. For his latest project, he organized an LGBT Pride Fun Run, where he donned a favorite leather armband and ran 10 miles through the city of Detroit to raise funds for Affirmations LGBT Center — building bridges between kinky folk and non-kinky LGBTs in the process. Trooper is Sir to his boys, black of Toronto and pup shyam of San Francisco. He's in a loving relationship with Andrew, who's both kinky and cute!

I was raised as the youngest of seven children in a blue collar home, in Hamilton, Ontario. Seven children? Yes, I was raised Roman Catholic. I have earned my second-degree black belt and have taught karate for several years before I had to give it up due to ankle and knee issues. I was introduced into the leather scene through my involvement with the Hamilton Pride Committee. Through my work with the committee, I met members of the Golden Horseshoe Leather Association (GHLA). I joined the GHLA and befriended my two leather mentors. I owe a great deal to Phil Bentley and John Doleman (the recently deceased founders and owners of the Point Tent and Trailer Resort) for taking me under their wings and showing me the ropes. For all intents and purposes, they were my first leather Daddies/Sirs. It is the memory of their love, boundless energy, and selfless commitment to the leather and bear communities that I take with me through this title year, and always. |

I have been part of the leather community since IML 2006 and have been avidly studying the leather lifestyle ever since. I have been with Master since before learning about the leather community, but I can definitely say it has strengthened our relationship and made me a stronger person and pup. In addition to being with Master, we have two other wonderful, loving members of our poly family. I am also the event coordinator for Bloomington Kink, a photographer, graphic designer, website designer, massage practitioner, and renaissance reenactor. Master Chuck’s boy iain has been exposed to Leather and BDSM for the better part of 14 years in the Ottawa and Toronto gay and pansexual communities. It seemed wherever he went; iain was always close to kinky men and women. Thanks to meeting his partner, Scott, 13 years ago, iain slowly started to explore the Leather lifestyle.
Seven years ago, boy iain was collared as a member of the Leather family headed by Master Chuck in a committed D/s relationship, signing his first contract in April 2006. As well as being currently owned by Master Chuck, boy iain enjoys switching and has four graduate subs of his own.
boy iain currently holds the title of Eastern Canada Leatherboy 2011, a player's title, through which iain hopes to promote bringing Leather people together, for play and education.
Education in Leather is important to iain who has also taught at a number of events over the past five years including teaching and demo bottoming at TO Kink, Mr. Leatherman Toronto, Sudbury BDSM, The Leather Uniform Club of Las Vegas, So You Want To Be Kinky in Toronto, Festival international kinky de Montréal and International LeatherSIR/Leatherboy. iain was also a Co-Chair for the Local Organizing Committee of the Leather Leadership Conference XIV - Great Lakes/Detroit. iain also volunteers with the AIDS Committee of Toronto through the Gay Mens Outreach program. |

Dave began to explore his sexual interests after hitting 40. The leather community helped guide his way into a world of self-exploration, heightened spirituality and kink. His husband Ken shares his passion for the leather community and reducing the stigma of HIV. Dave is a member of the Grand Rapids Rivermen and serves on the CLAW Board of Directors. Professionally, Dave has a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and is a Michigan state certified HIV testor/counselor. In September 2008, he was honored with the title of Mr Michigan Leather 2009, traveled extensively in the Midwest and beyond, placing in the top ten at IML XXXI. He currently works in HIV prevention and is the creator of "Mr Friendly," a symbol to raise HIV awareness and reduce stigma. "Mr Friendly" was offered vending space at IML XXXII with 1000s of free buttons passed out. Dave just recently co-founded the 12 Step Leather Club, a national club for all leatherfolk in recovery. Also known as "Mama's Nutty Buddy," he has completed many food fetish presentations, countless HIV classes and enjoys flogging "newbies" at leather events while flagging donut holes on his left. |

Newer to the Leather scene David won the Hayloft Leather Bear contest in 2010 at the Hayloft Saloon in Detroit. Being a full time student has allowed him the opportunity to look at the Leather community with a different personal and emotional perspective. David prefers to look at the lighter side of the world and enjoys a good laugh while also enjoying a good flogging. |

Eddie joined the Leather community 2006. Its embrass of him made him feel immediately at home. In the same year, Eddie became a member of the DC boys of Leather (DCboL) and was elected as their Vice President a year later. Throughout his community involvement, Eddie has participated in numerous fundraisers, served as judge’s boy for numerous leather contests, and served as a judge for the Capital Pride Mr./Ms. Leather Contest in 2009.
Eddie earned the title of Mid-Atlantic Leatherboy 2009. His title year was unlike any other and afforded him opportunities that he may not have had otherwise. He was extremely proud and humbled to serve his Leather community during his title year. Eddie learned so much about himself, being a boy, and had the chance to meet amazing people throughout the US. At CLAW 9 Eddie was honored to be collard in front of his new Leather family by his Sir and is proud to be in His service. |
